

Betty Lou Dunham was born March 9th 1932 in Hulbert, OK the daughter of Bud and Pansy (Pippin) McGowan. On March 15th of 1949 Betty married the love of her life Charles “Hubert” Dunham. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very gifted in cooking, baking, canning, and gardening. In her spare time she could be found watching sports on TV, she especially enjoyed football. Betty also enjoyed the times spent with family and friends fishing. A Baptist by faith Betty took interest in watching church on television. The Lord called Betty home on October 9th, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Betty will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Judith Lynn Dunham, a sister Ruby Holbrook, and a brother J.T. McGowan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 64 years, Hubert, of the home, two daughters Janice Lea Waddle and her husband Bobby of Tahlequah, and Brenda Kay Jones and her fiancé Bobby Hobbs of Garfield, Arkansas, two sisters Inez Glory of Tahlequah, and Lois Garner-Henderson of Muskogee, Two grandchildren, Charles “Rob” Waddle and Brandie Kay Waddle-Walker, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
