Betty Sue Linn-Scraper was born on August 13th, 1948, in Colcord, OK, the daughter of Clinton Joseph and Beulah Gertrude (Beamer) Linn. She grew up with three brothers, Bobby, Kenneth and Montie. She grew up and attended Colcord High School, and later graduated from there. She started her working career, attending beauty school. There was nothing more fun for her than styling ladies hair and making them look great. She worked for a while at the chicken plant, and it was here she met Jack D. Scraper. It was love at first sight, and in spite of being only 17 years old, she announced to him after their first date that they would be getting married. So on January 28th, 1966, she became Mrs. Jack Scraper in Arkansas. They were the proud parents of four sons and five daughters, Charles Anthony, Daniel Joseph, Donald Joseph, Brian, Joyce Gail, Trudy Jo, Jaqueline Darlene, Jennifer Diane, and Susan Davina. There was nothing on this earth she loved more than her husband and her beloved children, they were her world. She loved to gather her family at the table to share a meal or a holiday. They was always plenty of laughter and joking around when the family got together. She was a strong woman, very determined, knew her mind and often stepped in to help her children figure out what was bothering them. She would listen to the kids tell their troubles, then announce she needed to sleep on it. The following day found her telling them about her dream to fix the problem and what it meant. Her front door was always open, and she didn’t care if she knew you or not, you were always welcome to park your feet under her table and share a meal. She always felt that you never knew if it was a stranger at the door, or perhaps a visiting angel, she was good to them either way. Her mind was sharp, math problems didn’t bother her at all, and loved to listen to music. Later on in her house wife career, she decided on a career as a home health provider. She was a natural, her vibrant smile and upbeat personality made everyone feel better in no time. After Jack passed away, she stayed close to the grand and great grandchildren she loved so well. Her health began to fade and she passed from this life on February 27th, 2021.She was 72 years old and will be greatly missed by all those she loved so well.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and father, her beloved husband Jack, two sons, Donald Joseph Scraper and Brian Coppedge, one brother, Montie Linn, and one granddaughter, Crystal Linn-Condon.
