Thomas Ray White II, or known by most as Big Toby, was born November 20, 1969 in Houston, TX, the son of Thomas Ray White Sr. and Judith (Taylor) Gatewood. He later moved to Oklahoma where he would graduate from Tahlequah High School. Afterwards, he earned his Business certification through the vo-tech and went on to complete college courses in accounting. His love for working with his hands lead him to a career, building specialty pole barns and various forms of construction. Work was something Toby truly enjoyed, whether it be a building project, tinkering around on his truck or restoring old cars. He had an appreciation for the classics such classic cars to classic rock like AC/DC and Steel Panther. He loved music and was a drummer himself. When he wasn’t following the UFC and MMA fights, he could be found watching the old western classics like Clint Eastwood’s Maximum Overdrive and Jose Wells. Whatever Toby was doing, his dog, Brutis, was right by his side. His companion, Kerry along with his kids and grandkids meant the world to him; holding a special bond with his grandson, Little Matthew, his number one buddy. He cherished time spent with his mom and looked forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas when all the family would come together. He was sure to keep everyone entertained with his corny puns and was always up for good home cooking. To him, it didn’t get much better than spaghetti and his mom’s homemade chocolate cream pie. As his health began to fail, this good hearted man was called from his labors on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his home in Stilwell, surrounded by those he loved. He was 54 years old and will truly be missed.
