

Bobby Ogden was born on Hadley Mountain in the Northwest corner of Cherokee County on April 11, 1934. He was the third son of Lillian (White) Ogden and Troy Ogden. He attended school at Downing, OK, as well as Pryor, Kansas City, California, and then ended up back in Lost City before graduating from Hulbert High School. Bob met the love of his life, Wilma Wheeler, and they got married in 1955. After their marriage, they moved to Tulsa, OK, where Bob worked at Air-X-Changers. They were blessed with three children: Robert, James, and Barbara. While the kids were still small, they moved back to Cherokee County to the Double Springs area. Bob continued to work for Air X Changers for over 38 Years until his retirement due to heart-related issues. In his free time, he liked to go fishing with his best friend, Delmar Briggs, and go garage shopping, talk on his CB radio, tinker around the farm, or go on a sightseeing trip when possible. On his best days, he got to attend Sunday school at Hill Top Church.
In his passing, he joins his beloved wife Wilma and son Robert, his parents and two brothers, Ray and Lawrance.
Left to cherish his memory include his son James Ogden, daughter Barbara Goode, brother Harold Ogden, and half-sister Sandra Presley, seven grandchildren: Jammie, David, Jennifer, Janelle, Kara, Jessica, and Amber. He also leaves 14 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loved ones too numerous to mention.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Reed Culver Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Funeral services for Bob will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK, with Bro. Justin Jimenez officiating.
He will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Wilma, at Tahlequah City Cemetery following the service. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Dakota Ferguson, Ryder Davis, Jeff Wilson, and David Craig.
