A beautiful baby boy born February 8, 1979, to Lewis and Darlene Hopson. Carl was a proud and loving father to four handsome boys, Jordan, Thomas, Kalvin and Kobe. He also had the proud title of Papa to one grandson Kalvin who he doted over.
Carl graduated from Muskogee High School and worked as a machinist. Carl loved music, family and would tell many jokes. A smile that would light a room. He enjoyed traveling and taking road trips, especially to the beach! He loved family gatherings and pop locking dance offs. He had the kind of spirit that never met a stranger. The kind of friend that will never be forgotten. To know him is to love him. Carl has family and friends too many to list, to say he will be missed is an understatement.
He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene Hopson, brother Jeffrey Sallis, Paternal grandparents Robert Monroe Hopson and Nathella Dixon, maternal grandparents Adam and Laura Mayfield.
Those left to cherish his memory will be his father Lewis Hopson, Son’s Jordan Sterling (Hopson), Thomas Bell (Hopson), Kalvin Hopson and Kobe Hopson. Siblings Tina (John) Billings, Billy Sallis, Terri Lynn (Jimmy) Potts, Debra Ann (Kenny) Harris, Jermaine Hopson and Summer McClellan. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins cherish his memories for years to come.
John 14: 1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled in my father's house are many rooms I go to prepare a place for you.”
