

Funeral services for Carl L. Main Jr. will be conducted on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Roy Carey officiating. Visitation will be conducted on Thursday, February 4th, 2016 from noon until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver. Interment will follow at Tahlequah City Cemetery. Carl L. Main Jr. was born on September 7th, 1955 in Independence, KS, the son of Carl L. Main Sr. and Rosalie Cochran-Cadwell. He grew up with his sisters, Debra, Rose, and Patty. Upon graduating high school, he completed his certification for Real Estate Appraiser. Carl enlisted into the US Army where he worked in ammunition, and served honorably both in Germany and stateside, from 1984 until 1988. He was a kind and gentle man that enjoyed being around people. He loved any time spent with his family, and was especially fond of hours spent with his grandparents, learning songs in Cherokee. He was a fan of classic rock and roll, and enjoyed listening to his favorite bands. He worked as a Retail Stocker at Walmart. Once you saw his signature smile, you didn’t soon forget it. His health grew weak, and Carl passed from this life on February 1st, 2016 in Tulsa, OK with his family by his side. Carl was 60 years old. He will be greatly missed for the love he gave and that smile!
Carl is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Carl Main Sr.
Those left to cherish Carl’s memory include his mother, Rosalie Cadwell of the home in Tahlequah, OK, his sisters, Debra Main of the home, Rose Wood of Hindsville, GA, and Patty Kolb of California. He leaves his son, John Carl Main and one grandson, Connor John Main both of California, as well as many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
