Charlene Samantha Rountree Yeargain

Graveside services for Charlene Samantha Yeargain will be held Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Tahlequah City Cemetery Pavilion with Brother George Hubbard officiating. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.reedculver.com.

Charlene Samantha (Rountree) Yeargain was born April 24th, 1931 in Creek County, OK to Arthur and Charlie (Henshaw) Rountree. Charlene married the love of her life, Jack Yeargain, on April 23, 1949 in Cherokee County. Their 58 years together was blessed with four children, Jackie, Donna, Laura, and Loretta. Charlene loved to be around her family, especially her kids and grandbabies. She was their biggest fan and never missed a ball game or birthday party. Her favorite pastime was enjoying the outdoors, fishing or gardening. A Christian by faith, she was faithful to attend Church. Even after her health began to fail and was unable to go as she would’ve liked, she could be found watching church on TV. On Tuesday, June 6th, 2017, Charlene was reunited with her husband in Heaven at the age of 86 year old in Tahlequah, OK. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Yeargain, one son, Jackie Yeargain, one daughter, Laura Yeargain, one brother, Elmer Rountree, one sister, Loretta Fanning and one granddaughter, Amber Feathers.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Donna Conrad and Loretta Doyle and husband Mike and two brothers, Bill Rountree and wife Carlene and Kenneth Rountree all of Tahlequah, OK. Her legacy lives on in her four grandchildren, Stephanie Manus of Tahlequah, OK, Michael Conrad and wife Cathy of Broken Arrow, OK, Kelly Alley and husband Josh of Tahlequah, OK and Michelle of California, eight great-grandchildren, Aidan Armontrout of Tahlequah, OK, Jackson and Samantha Conrad of Broken Arrow, OK, Mckenna and Tate Alley of Tahlequah, OK, Jackie Walker of Tahlequah, OK and Tommy and Austin Feathers also of Tahlequah, OK as well as many friends and loved ones.
