Corynn Laine McCully was born in Clarksville, TN on October 20th 1990, the daughter of Michael and Molly McCully. The family lived in Tennessee, and it was here she finished grade school. Michael and Molly split and Corynn went to live with her mother. In Washington State, she enjoyed high school. The final move was to the Tahlequah, Ok area, returning several years later to be reunited with her father, here Corynn finished up her career. She was a Dog Groomer by profession, she adored canine companions of all types and sizes. Corynn finished up her education at Talking Leaves Job Corp and found her place here in Green Country. When she wasn’t working with animals, she worked around the Salvation Army Camp in Welling, OK, doing various jobs and working crafts for hours, she particularly enjoyed building things with popsicle sticks. The great outdoors was her playground and she loved going to hunt arrowheads, fishing at her favorite spot on the creek, or just soaking up the sunshine and smelling the fresh air. She could skip out on watching TV as long as she could be out in nature. She was quiet and reserved, seldom speaking unless spoken to. Yet she possessed a smile that would light up the darkest room and loved her family and friends fiercely. Life wasn’t always kind to Corynn, and she faced a great deal in her short time on earth. She trusted God to see her through, and to stand with her come what may. The Lord called Corynn home from her earthly labors on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 in Welling, OK. She was 34 years young and leaves her family and friends to remember her smile.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James McCully, and great-grandmother Elaine Keen.
Those left to cherish her memory and her smile include her father, Michael McCully and wife Kimberly of Tahlequah, OK and her mother, Molly McCully of Washington State. She also leaves her grandmother, LaNelle McCully of Briggs, OK. She leaves one brother, Johnathon Cord Lovell-Ramirez of TN, and two uncles, Brad McCully and wife Trish McCully of Van Buren, AR and Luke McCully and partner Amanda of Tulsa, OK.
