Dan’s sunrise was on March 28, 1960 in Shawnee, OK and as the sunsets on amazing life, led by a great man. Dan’s family and friends, of which there are many, are left to remember the life he lived. He was a very caring and loving man that never met a stranger, or a person he wasn’t willing to help. He was lucky enough to spend the past several years with a woman that always kept a smile on his face, his fiancé Rose Trammel. Though everyone was his friend there was a special place in his heart for children, and he loved to be around them as often as possible. Dan was a man’s, man, enjoying everything outdoors, Hunting , fishing, finding and collecting arrow heads, and hiking, just to name a few. He was a very creative person and expressed it through his hobby of photography, sunsets being his favorite thing to shoot. Many times he would drive around with Rose looking for the perfect view of a sunset, so they could set and soak in the beauty that God placed in front of them. Many of those excursions took him to Camp Gruber where he loved to ride around in the buggy. With all the passions he had in his life, nothing was more precious to him than his family. As we celebrate his life, we will miss all the amazing things he brought to each of his family and friends, but we will always remember his love and kindness in every beautiful sunset we see.
