Daniel Edward Chuculate

Funeral services for Daniel Edward Chuculate will be held on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at 2:00pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother James Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. His final resting place is at Swimmer Cemetery. Online condolences for his family may be sent to www.reedculver.com.

Daniel Edward Chuculate was one of twins, born on March 10th, 1944, the son of Edward and Martha Helena (Lundbeck) Chuculate in Prairie Grove, AR. He grew up with one twin brother, Donald and one sister, attended school in Cave Springs, Jay and Colcord, and upon graduating, started taking his college classes at NSU, Tulsa University and Oklahoma State University. He then enlisted in to the US Army and served honorably in the 547 Bomb Squad from 1962 until he was discharged in 1965. He worked for years as a Sanitation Technician at WW Hastings Medical Center, a job where he could be around people. He loved them! He had the kind of personality where he never knew a stranger. He loved to joke and tease. He was always chasing after his grandchildren, he loved them and was so proud of them. He followed their wrestling and baseball careers, and any other activity they tried. He was always ready to go do a little fishing, or just rest at the creek. He was really talented carpenter that loved woodworking, and he loved reading any historical or true life adventure. He was an avid OSU fan and watched them play football ever chance he had, but would occasionally indulge in a little OU football as well. He had a mind for mathematical figures, always helping people with their taxes, and studied math at NSU. He married his wife Eva Murphy on March 1st, 1990 in Jay, OK. They were always chasing down grandchildren and taking care of business together. He was a member of DD Etchison Methodist Church in Tahlequah. He passed from this life on March 15th, 2018 in Tulsa, OK with his loved ones by his side. He was 74 years old. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother Donald and one sister.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Eva Murphy of the home, and his daughter, Tina Chuculate of San Bernardino, CA. He leaves tow step sons, David Murphy and Jason Murphy and wife Ashley also of Tahlequah. He lives on in his ten grandchildren, Aaron James Sanchez Jr, and Eric Daniel Sanchez of San Bernardino, CA David Murphy Jr of the home, Haley Murphy of Tenkiller Harbor, Kaley Murphy of Keys, OK, Tyson Murphy of Keys, OK, Shelby Caudle of Tahlequah, Madison Murphy of Briggs, OK, Lily Murphy of Tahlequah and Danielle Murphy also of Tahlequah. He also leaves many friends and cousins too numerous to mention.
