Danny Bryant Shupp was born on Friday, February 20th, 1953 in De Leon, TX, the son of Elmo Curtis and Ora Inez (Champion) Shupp. He grew up in a household with four brothers, Damon, Dennis, Gary and Victor Wayne, and one sister, Geneva. After graduating from high school, Danny served in the US Army. He then started a family of three sons and two daughters, Curtis, Barbie, Bryant, Tyler, and Laci. He acquired his CDL and earned his living as a cross country truck driver for Wal-Mart. Whenever he had free time, he loved to go hunting and fishing. He swore the best deer were in Clarendon, TX. He loved the outdoors and mudding in four-wheel drives. After a long day behind the wheel, there was nothing better than sitting at the bowling alley socializing and visiting with friends and family. His sense of humor made him a joy to be around. Danny had to give up the open road as his health began to fail him. He had a great deal of difficulty with his health, but he never complained. Danny was just so happy to be around his family and friends, they brought him such great joy in life. He passed from this life on Friday, August 16th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Danny was 66 years old and will be missed by all who knew him.
