Darrell Lee Dreadfulwater

Darrell Lee Dreadfulwater entered life on May 14, 1959 in San Diego, CA, the son of Bennie and Phyllis (Thompson) Dreadfulwater. This was the beginning of an adventurous life, as a military brat, moving around the country.

This life seemed to suit him just fine. He joined the United States Marine Corp, serving four honorable years and another two years in the Navy. Darrell was a hardcore Marine his whole life. He never missed a chance to enjoy the outdoors. He could not think of anything better than spending some time at his favorite fishing hole, taking in the serenity of the woods during a hunting trip, or just hanging out at the creek all summer long. Darrell never sat still for very long, always finding something to tinker around with, even when he couldn’t get around so well himself. He was a friend to everyone and loved his family dearly. Darrell left this life on April 26, 2020 at his home in Tahlequah, OK. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memories include two sons; Isaiah and Joshua Dreadfulwater both of Tahlequah, OK, four brothers Mike Thompson, James Andrew Dreadfulwater, Robert Dale Dreadfulwater and wife Cynthia, and Charlie Dreadfulwater, and one sister; Diana Fairchild and husband Steven all of Tahlequah, OK, as well as many other friends and loved ones.
