

Graveside services for Daryl Wayne Blackbear will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Elm Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Richard Pickup officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2016 at Reed-Culver Chapel from noon until 6:00 PM. Online condolences for his family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
Pallbearers for Daryl include David Chuckluck, Jonathan Chuckluck, Kendall Colston, Barry Colston, Stan Ross, Jeremy Bacon, and Jeffrey Foreman.
Daryl Wayne Blackbear was born on July 26th, 1961 in Claremore, OK, the son of Charles Curtis Bailey and Betty Mae Blackbear. He grew up with six brothers and sisters in Kansas, OK. Daryl loved taking long walks with his best buddy, Bill Snell, roaming the woods and walking the long country lanes, enjoying the sunshine and the wildlife. He loved camping out doors, fishing and hunting for deer. Daryl began his working career as a roofer in the construction industry. He traveled all over Oklahoma, Missouri, and Colorado. He was the father of two sons and one daughter, LeaAnn, Wayne, and Codey. He enjoyed the time he spent with his brothers and sisters, unfortunately, was few and far between with all the traveling involved. Daryl had made his home in Denver, CO for the past few years. Daryl left this world on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 in Denver at the age of 54 years. He will be missed.
Daryl is preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother, Jeffrey Blackbear, two sisters, Linda Chuckluck, and Sherrie Blackbear, and his grandmother and grandfather, Bill Blackbear, Ida Tagg-Blackbear, Daisy Cochran-Buckskin, and George F. Bailey.
Those left to remember him include his children, LeaAnn Thomas of Wagoner, OK, Wayne Blackbear of Kansas, OK, and Codey Blackbear of Kansas, OK. He leaves one brother, Rudy Wolfe and wife Sharon of Siloam Springs, AR, and two sisters, Charlene Blackbear of Cherokee, NC, and Tammy Noe and husband Curtis of Twin Oaks, OK. Daryl leaves three grandchildren, Tyler Boston, Kyle Thomas, and BriLea Thomas all of the home in Wagoner, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
