

Tahlequah, OK - Funeral services for David P. Mouse will be held on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Ross Gourd and Pastor Felix Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at Agent Cemetery in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah, OK.
Pallbearers for David include Kris Mouse, Mike Weaver, Joe Mouse, Larry Mouse, Randy Vance and Bryan Vann. Honorary pallbearers include Derek Vance, Kurtis Mouse, Vance McGowin, and George McGowin.
David P. Mouse was born on March 12th, 1959 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Robert and Nancy (Walker) Mouse Sr. He attended school at Sequoyah and spent his spare moments chasing ten brothers and sisters around. David worked as a Custodial Technician at Sequoyah School and was one of their biggest fans. He listened to every sporting event on the radio that featured his beloved Sequoyah athletes. Whenever he wasn’t working, he loved to work on vehicles of all types . He was an avid OU football fan and watched the Sooners every chance he got. He had a witty sense of humor and loved to tease whenever he got the chance. He was kind, and caring and always willing to lend the helping hand or support you when you needed a friend. A Baptist by faith, David attended Johnson Prairie Baptist Church in Moody, OK. The Lord called David home from his labors on November 15th, 2013 at his home in Tahlequah. David was 54 years old. He leaves many family and friends that will feel the loss of his smile and laughter.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and father, and two brothers, Cliff and Jody.
Those left to cherish his memory include four brothers and four sisters, Robert Mouse Jr. and wife Gladys of Peggs, Jackie Mouse of Tahlequah, Michael Mouse of Briggs, Marvin Mouse of Tahlequah, Cora Vann of Woodall, Nora Weaver and David of Tahlequah, Dora Vance and husband Ernest of Tahlequah, and Lucy Overacker and Greg of Tahlequah. He leaves a special friend, Beverly Hale, of Tahlequah, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
