The heavens opened the portals wide and allowed a beautiful angel, Denver Shia Rain Pierce-Hogshooter , to come to earth on May 29th, 2015 in Tahlequah, OK, the adored daughter of Dustin Rendall Hogshooter and Paris Breanna Hope Pierce. From the time this precious little one arrived, everyone knew she was someone so very special. All you had to do was look into those large brown eyes and you instantly fell in love. She had the most lyrical laughter, and it filled the air. Denver was always happy, always upbeat. She awoke in the morning ready to try on her charms to everyone in her family. For her daddy, it was a piggy back ride on his strong shoulders, then time to cuddle in the arms of her mama. Prehaps a little 4 wheeling with Pop Pop in the afternoon followed by singing “Soft Kitty” with Nana and peeky-boo with Auntie T. She liked music and could this angel dance! Everyday was a new day of fun and discovery, and most recently, she gained two new teeth! They were her pride and joy. She was loved, adored, pampered and cradled in arms endlessly. Denver brought with her, loads of love and happiness. It is with heavy hearts we must let this angel return to heaven, filling the skies with her joy, her love and her laughter. Denver passed on May 31st, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. This precious little girl took our hearts with her, and we will love her forever until we hold each other again. Sleep little angel til then.
Denver is preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles and loved ones.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, one uncle, Cody James Hogshooter and one aunt, Taylor Nicole Pierce both of Tahlequah, OK. Her memory lives on through her grandparents, Krisstee Pierce and Mark Marshall of Tahlequah, OK, Charles Booze of St. Louis, MO, Weldon McMillan of Oklahoma City, OK, Carmen Kay Hogshooter of Tahlequah, OK and Marvin Rendall Hogshooter of Wooward, OK, great grandpartents, Connie Mouse of Tahlequah, OK, Mary Lou and Ken McMillian of Vian, OK, Deborah Penrod, of Tahlequah, OK, Cheryl Booze of Edmond, OK and Dann Roche of Long Beach, CA, as well as one great great grandmother, Frances Fancher of Edmond, OK.
