Eugene Carson

Robert Eugene Carson, better known as Eugene, began this life on October 26, 1943 in Muskogee, OK, the only child of Calvin Carson and Lois (Moore) Foster. Eugene graduated high school and went on to be a part owner with Carlile Roberts at Suzuki Kawasaki for 10 years as a service manager and then retire from Georgia Pacific after 20 years. On July 22, 2000, he was lucky enough to marry the love of his life Kathy Goforth and they have been inseparable ever since. Eugene has always loved his motorcycles and cars. He got his first motorcycle at the age of twelve and has been hooked ever since. Owning several Harley's, he had become a master motorcycle mechanic over the years. He even enjoyed taking his new bride to the Sturgis Bike Rally for their honeymoon. Eugene’s other favorite pass time was buying motorcycles and cars. When he wasn’t tinkering with a bike, he could be found camping or on the lake with Kathy. Between the bikes, cars, and camping he found the time to become a 32nd degree Mason, and truly enjoyed being a Shriner and all that it involved. Eugene was a great husband, father, Pap, and friend to all that had the privilege to know him and will be deeply missed.

Those that left this life before him include his parents, daughter Tina Overturf, and stepbrother Mike Foster.

Here to remember the life he lived include his wife Kathy Carson of the home, three sons; Waylon Carson and fiancé Stormy of Muskogee, OK, Joey Carson and wife Kari of Muskogee, OK and Bradley Reed and wife Tiffany of Locust Grove, OK, One daughter, Katelyn Vinson and husband Jakob of Tahlequah, OK, six grandchildren; Aspen, Dacie, and Tristan of Locust Grove, OK and Remi, Ryli and Malcolm of Tahlequah, OK as well as very special cousins Jimmy White and wife Maria, Chief White and wife Kathy and Connie Alexander and husband Mark all of Houston TX. One stepsister Janet Wiseman and husband Tom of Muskogee, OK. He also leaves numerous other family members and loved ones.

Funeral services have been planned for Monday, February 14, 2022, at 2:00pm at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK chaplain Bill Holcomb officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Freeling, Charley Evans, Sam Carter, Jeff Denton, Tom Benge, Donnie Yarbrough, Bradley Reed, Jakob Vinson, and Bill Sanders.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK.
