Euna Faye Geurin was born on Friday, June 24th, 1927 in Depew, OK, the daughter of Claude Mayfield and Gladys Bertha (Attaberry) Simpson. She grew up with one brother, R.G. and one sister, Wilma and attended school at Mt. Zion. She would meet and marry her first husband, J.B. Teague in 1943, and together they had two sons, Jerry Lee and Claude Dell. Her second husband was A.P. Weeden, and their marriage lasted until his passing in 1999. In 2006 she married Fred Geurin and this marriage lasted until his passing in 2017. Babe resided in Hulbert, OK her entire life. Her brother had pinned the name Babe on her when she was born, as she was the baby of the family. This name stayed with her all of her lifetime. She was a farmer who loved gardening and enjoyed sharing her vegetables with friends and family. She was a small business owner in Hulbert for 19 years. When she wasn’t working, she was gardening, working in her flower beds, traveling and spending time with her favorite people on earth, her family. She kept a diary of her daily life, loved music, and sang with Claude Dell until her health no longer permitted it. She was the proud mother and step mother of four sons and five daughters, Jerry Lee Teague, Claude Dell Teague, Alfred Weeden, John Geurin, Kathy McCullough, Margaret Weider, Pat Geurin, Cyndee Jueschke, and Kay Marsh. Her family was her joy in life; she adored every chance to gather them together for a holiday or Sunday afternoon. They played Skipbo, laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. There were 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren to make her days bright. She was sweet, kind and had the most wonderful laugh and smile. She was always happy to see her family, and loved to share a laugh and a joke or two. She was a Christian by faith and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Hulbert. The Lord called this hard working woman home from her many labors on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK, surrounded by the family she loved. She was 91 years old. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother R.G., sister Wilma, son Jerry, first husband J.B. Teague, second husband A.P. Weeden, third husband Fred Geurin, and two great grandsons, Cadence Bailey and Jeffrey Porter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Claude Dell Teague and wife Parma of Hulbert, OK, daughter-in-law, Connie Teague of Batesville, AR, her stepsons, Alfred Weeden and wife Jane of Wyoming and John Geurin and wife Melody of Texas, daughters Kathy McCullough of Maryland, Margaret Weider and husband Ken of Kansas, Pat Geurin of Oklahoma City, OK, Cyndee Jueschke and husband Kevin of Louisiana, and Kay Marsh and husband Eddie of Hulbert, OK.
