Eva Belle (Lucy) Murphy, born on November 22, 1956, to Ansen "Chalk" and Jennie Murphy in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away after a life well-lived. She was born at Hastings Hospital and grew up in Tahlequah, where she attended and graduated from Tahlequah High School.
Eva married Daniel Edward Chuculate, and together they shared 30 years of life and family. Eva worked over 25 years at Northeastern State University (NSU) as a custodian and also dedicated several years at Philmade. Eva was serious about her Bingo nights and even more serious about her grandkids, who she never missed a chance to spoil.
Eva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel, her parents, Ansen and Jennie, as well as her brother Ansen Jr. Murphy, her brother Clarence (Sam) Murphy, and her grandson Cody Murphy. She is also preceded in death by her nieces Cindy Potts and Mindy Murphy.
She is survived by her children, David "Choogie" and Jason Murphy; her sister Jennie Potts of Tahlequah; her brothers Bill, Bob, Jeff, George, Joe and Leo Murphy; and her brother Henry Murphy.
Eva's loving memory is carried on by her grandchildren, David Scott Murphy Jr., Haley Murphy, Shelby Caudle, Kayley Murphy, Tyson "Boomer" Murphy, Madison Murphy, Jasiman Dry, Lilly Murphy, and Danielle Murphy. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Somie Chanate, Normon Lee, Pixey Caudle, and Jaxon Foreman.
Eva's warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
