

Fonda Glo Pinion Williams, of Bunch, Oklahoma, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on April 9, 1936, in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, to Andrew Pinion and Elfie Foster Pinion, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Cecil Williams Sr., whom she married on December 30, 1954, her son, Gary Clay Williams, Sr., brothers Dale, Doyle, Jerry Lynn, Terry Dean, Jimmy David Pinion, sisters Donna Dingman, Brenda JoAn Williams.
Fonda lived a remarkable life full of adventure, hard work, and love. She began her work for the USDA in 1974, and her career took her to 48 out of 50 U.S. states, as well as Guam and American Samoa. Her work allowed her to travel and experience new places—something she truly loved.
Fonda was dedicated to her family, and she was the center of her family’s world. She is survived by her children:

• Kay Lee and husband Ronald of Spencer, Oklahoma
• Lesa Stewart of Rogers, Arkansas
• Scott Williams of Norman, Oklahoma
• Gina Fletcher and husband Jody of Bunch, Oklahoma
• Vicki Sawney and husband John of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her tremendous joy.
She leaves behind a sister, Sharon Williams, as well as sisters-in-law June Loyd, Glenda Williams, and Clara Pinion.
In addition to her family, Fonda is survived by various friends whom she kept in touch with over the years and was always happy to hear from.
As the unofficial “mayor of Greasy,” Fonda’s legacy lives on in her family and loved ones. She was a deeply cherished woman who will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and abiding love for God and her family.
Fonda requested no memorial be held in her honor. Instead, she wished for her friends and family to remember her with fondness, carrying with them the love, laughter, and cherished moments they shared throughout her life.
