Harvey Coles

Harvey Coles the son of Claud and Martha (Cottrell) Coles was born January 26, 1937 in Daisy, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 26, 2010 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years and 4 months.

Harvey was retired from the Marble City Lime Plant. He enjoyed playing golf and playing croquet with his great granddaughter. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Delmar Coles and Carlee Coles; and 4 sisters: Pauline Girdner, Dorothy Girdner, Bertha Gregory, Bessie Lee.

He is survived by a very loving family which includes his wife Oletta Coles of the home in Welling; 2 daughters: Linda Dallis and husband Kenneth Leo and Brenda Coles all of Welling; 1 brother: Johnnie Coles and wife Nadine of Sand Springs; 2 sisters: Janey Holmes and Husband Dave and Gelina Holmes and husband Virgil all of Bunch; 5 grandchildren: Cody Dallis, Cora Dallis, Marsha Coles, Kenneth Leo “Bubba” Dallis and Teresa Mae (Dallis) Carder; and 1 great granddaughter Raelea Coles. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charles Duvall officiating.
