

Henry White Morgan, or “Whitecat” to his friends, was born on August 8th, 1939 in Hulbert, OK the son of Leslie Nix and Cordia MorganHe attended and graduated from Hulbert High School in 1957. He attended Okmulgee Tech from 1977 until 1979 with his electricians certification. He went on to obtain his heating and refrigeration certificate as well. Henry just thought his corvette was the love of his life. He met Janice Ogden in May 1977 and married her on November 25thm 1977. This union was blessed with three children, Tereasa, Christina, and Eric. Henry was a man of many talents including working on radios and televisions, tinkering with electricity, playing pool, fishing, and even cutting hair as long as you didn’t ask on Sunday or during a fishing trip. He enjoyed the company of his canine companion, “Bubba” and always with his family and friends. He always had a story to tell and a smile on his face. He carried his own bottle of hot sauce in his pocket, and was a real sport and had the best attitude about his performance of “Singing In the Rain” with the rest of the youth group. With Henry around, you were always guaranteed a good time. Henry didn’t know a stranger. You never told Henry you were sorry unless you wanted to hear “I know it!!” Henry worked at Western Hills Guest ranch as a maintenance man for over 20 years before ill health forced him to retire. On August 18th, 1988, henry prayed the “Sinners Prayer” and he and his son were baptized together in September 1988. Henry remained a faithful servant to his Savior until he called him home on Sunday may 26th, 2013 in Muskogee with his loved ones by his side. Henry was 73 years old. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, one brother francis Morgan and one sister, Victoria Morgan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Janice of the home, daughter Tereasa Woods and husband Jim of Broken Arrow, OK, daughter Christina Richards and husband Chris of Pryor, OK, and son Eric Morgan and fiancé Brandy Barnes of Bartlesville, OK. He leaves one sister, Ruth Ann Waters of Norman, OK, six adored grandchildren, Sydney Oliver, Tiffany Oliver, Donald Paden, Rilee Woods, Madison Ballard, and Isabelle Ballard, a special friend Jack Teague. Nephew, Larry Waters and wife Kathy of Hot Springs, AR, niece Ramona Ham and husband Rick of Norman, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. Rest well Henry until we meet again.
