Our beautiful Holli Shaine Carnes was born on January 31, 2008, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and left this world tragically on August 11, 2026. Holli is survived by her loving mother and father, Claudia and Todd Carnes; her older sisters, Paige Keys (Carnes) & husband Cody Keys, Kassidy Hall (Carnes) & husband Cooper Hall.
Holli was a daughter, sister, girlfriend, teammate, and friend, but to so many, she felt like family. She had a way of bringing joy and light wherever she went, leaving an imprint on the hearts of everyone around her. Holli was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She was a light in this world, and it has been a much darker place without her.
She was intensely loved by so many, and the immense outpouring of love and grief following her passing is a testament to the impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. To leave such a profound legacy at only 18 years old does not happen by accident. Holli touched countless lives and was becoming an extraordinary young woman.
There could never have been enough time with Holli. We will carry her with us in everything we do and keep her memory alive so that she is never forgotten. We will hold onto the memories we made with her forever and cherish the joy and reminisce on all the laughter she brought into our lives daily.
If you were lucky enough to call our sister a friend, you knew that her love was palpable and genuine. She was the kind of daughter parents prayed to have, the sister everyone wanted, the teammate who always lifted others, & the player who made coaches proud. She was everything to everyone. One of her favorite things to be was an aunt to her best friends, Dub and Kolby. The love she gave them so fiercely, even in such a short amount of time, is a gift they will carry with them forever.
We will miss her for the rest of our lives.
Until we meet again, Holli. We love you endlessly.
