Imogene Annette Russell

Funeral services for Imogene Walker Glass will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Reed-Culver Chapel from 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Terrell Barnoskie, James Walters, George Walters, Les Ritchie, Justin Wright and Clay Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Brent Brooks and JP Johnson.

Imogene Glass was born on November 16, 1957 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma the daughter of Thomas and Daggie (Ketcher) Walker. She worked at the Cherokee Nation Casino as a cook and enjoyed Cooking anytime she could. Imogene could cook anything that was seen on TV. She spent her spare time reading, sewing, knitting, playing on the computer and listening to good classical rock music. Most of all she loved her kids and grandkids. Imogene had received an Associate’s Degree and recently received her Medical Transcriptionist Certificate. The Lord called Imogene home on January 24, 2011 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 53 years old.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregg Glass, father, Thomas Walker and a Brother, Danny Walker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her two sons Jason Russell and his wife Jennifer of Tahlequah, OK, Joshua Russell of Denton, TX; one daughter Annette Glass of Siloam Springs, AR; three grandchildren Trace, Aedan, and Lane Russell; her mother Daggie Walker of Stilwell, OK; two brothers Vincent Scraper and his wife Sharon of Little Kansas, OK, Mark Walker and his wife Leisa of Hulbert, OK; two sisters Marilyn Weaver and Leona Walker both of Tahlequah, OK and a host of other Relatives, Friends and Loved Ones.
