Janelle Renee Welch

Janelle Renee Welch was born on November 7th, 1978 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Charley and Leona Marie (Wilson) Welch. She grew up with one brother, Johnathan and one sister, Jennifer. She called the Hulbert area home for most of her life. Every minute spent with her sons was heaven to her. She liked to gather with her aunts and cousins, playing card, laughing and telling stories. She loved gathering for the holidays, to share a meal and just spend the day talking. Evenings were spent watching reality TV, a personal favorite of hers. She was strong willed and very opinionated, yet she had a smile that just let you feel like you were hanging out with an old friend. Janelle was feisty, ornery and loving. Her candle died out all too soon on February 13th, 2021, she was 42 years old and leaves many family and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sherman and Lula Wilson and Martin and Ester Welch, and her mother and father.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Preston and T.J. Welch all of Hulbert, OK, one brother, Johnathan Welch and one sister, Jennifer Welch-Thompson all of Hulbert, OK. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Seth Welch and Shadow Welch both of Hulbert, OK, Harleigh Sampson of Tulsa, OK, Mykala Sampson of Tulsa, OK, and Hailey Thompson of Hulbert, OK, as well as many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Funeral services for Janelle Renee Welch will be held on Monday, February 22nd, 2021, at 10:00 am at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Charlie Levi officiating. Pallbearers for Janelle include Daniel Messick, Sherman Messick, James Messick and Ricky Smith. Her honorary pallbearers include Preston Welch, TJ Welch, Seth Welch, and Shadow Welch.
