Tahlequah, OK- Janette “Janet” Lee Holland was born on Septemebr 15th, 1957 in Coffeyville, KS, the daughter of Vernie lee and Georgia Ruth (Ward) Holland. She attended school graduating from Field Kindley High School and completed her Bachelors in Education from Pittsburgh State University. She was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and enjoyed the outdoors as she lived numerous years in Alaska. She was a mother and grandmother to her two sons and their children. Survivors include her son Nick Brown and family from Owasso, Oklahoma and Scott Brown of Tulsa, Sister Pam Anderson of Coffeyville, KS, Brother Rick Holland of Tulsa, and Brother Ike Holland of Chillicothe, Missouri. She died of natural causes in her home in Tahlequah and no memorial services will be provided. Send condolences to the Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah.
