

Jeanette Mary Fabry was born on November 30th, 1920 in Gary, Indiana to Aprim and Katherine (Morad) Pera. Jeanette married the love of her life, Herbert L. Fabry in 1946. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children. Jeanette was an editor for Playboy Magazine and Toll Booth Operator for the State of Illinois. After retirement, she moved to Tucson, AZ where she loved to travel around the country side in their RV. When she wasn’t touring the land, she spent time simply relaxing at the house and watching TV. Jeanette and Herbert enjoyed 53 wonderful years together before his passing in 1999. She was an amazing cook. Some of her specialties include her Armenian stuffed grape leaves and everyone’s favorite, her classic spaghetti. Jeanette was always warm and friendly to everyone and happy to see visitors. She was a Catholic by faith. On Thursday, October 2nd, 2014, Jeanette passed from this life to her eternal home. She was 93 years old.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; one daughter, Janice Betz; her parents, Aprim and Katherine Pera; one brother, Robert Pera and one sister, Helen Olsen.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Richard Fabry of Tucson, AZ, John Fabry and wife Lena of Albuquerque, NM and Eugene Fabry and companion Patricia Thompson of Tahlequah, OK. Her legacy lives on in her two grandchildren, Ian and Danielle Fabry of Chicago, IL and a host of friends and loved ones.
