Jeff Laster

Jeffrey Allen Laster was born on September 18th, 1982, in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Curtis and Peggy (Catron) Laster. He had one brother and one brother, Gregory and one sister, Latisha. He attended Tahlequah High School and decided on a career a pole barn construction member. He was the father of two daughters, Jaya and Anna. He loved going to the river, just to enjoy the day and maybe do a little swimming. He was a college football fan and love the Oklahoma Sooners. He possessed a wicked sense of humor and enjoyed cutting up with his friends. He was always up for a good time with his friends, and the view from his own backyard was what pleased him most. He passed from this life following a lengthy illness on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 39 years old.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vernon and Cloretta Laster and maternal grandparents, Thorna and Freda Catron. He has also been preceded by his mother, Peggy Catron, and several uncles and aunts.

Those that survive him include his daughters, Jaya and Anna Laster of Jay, OK, his father Curtis Laster of Tahlequah, OK, brother Gregory Laster of Tahlequah, OK, sister, Latisha Hamilton and husband John of Oklahoma City, OK, and one grandson, Coltan Laster, as well as many uncles and friends.

Graveside services for Jeffrey Allen Laster will be conducted on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Tahlequah City Cemetery with Pastor Carla Kay Carey officiating. He will be available for visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM before the services that day. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at Tahlequah City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are his siblings, Gregory Laster and Latisha Hamilton.
