In his later years, he enjoyed the company of his neighbors at the Davis Retirement Center, where he was a friend to everyone. Above all, Jerry lived his life for his beloved son, Alan, who was his greatest joy and constant companion.
He is survived by his son, Alan Jackson Lane of the home, and his sister, Sue Bynum and husband Jim of Park Hill, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack Lane and Wymbert Lane; and two sisters, Ann Williams and Jackie Ballard.
