This is for all you kids, I have always thought you all and our bunch were connected somehow because there are so many of us! We all were poor but we didn’t know it! Life was good when we could get together and play with our cousins!
Looking back we were “rich” in so many ways! 
“Unanswered prayers”, many times, when I was much younger, I would pray, lord, let me wake up as an only child with rich parents!
So glad for unanswered prayers!
Life has a way of getting away from us as we struggle to make ends meet, and before you know it we are “old!”
.No more family reunions,  no more get togethers on a summer evening for watermelon or homemade ice cream and tag. Life was simpler then and we were so fortunate to have big families,  just didn’t know it then!

Ray and  I met the 1st time in a bus .when I was 14 back in 1982 my mom and I was on a bus going to chicago to visit her mom .there was a couple sitting in the seat 1 back and 1 over  it was after midnight when we got on in Joplin and all but us 3 was asleep on our way to st Louis little overHalf way there we stopped in Rolla my mom went in arby's and I got off and smoked a cigarette.the guy that was behind us that was with the girl got off and smoked too I asked him how long they had been together he said oh we just met on the bus he said she got on in Texas he got on in muskogee oh really.Well here she come the girl with a attitude are you hooking up with her I said no no well anyways we get to st louis and change busses they go toward Tennessee and we go to chicago .28 years later we have a mutual friend that introduces us .a few months later we meet again and that was for good .and one day we was talking about our adventures with people and he told about a girl he met in the bus and she went to Tennessee with him I asked him when that was because I thought of that couple he said he thought it was early io 80s I asked him if he remembered the girl sitting in the seat in front of him it was me 28 yes later .I believe He was the one the Lord Had in mind for me

To say goodbye to a man, who in the past years, has made me laugh, cry,think, and i can't believe your are gone. You, along with Kris, have given me a lot of joy. Just sitting and talking, listening to your stories about growing up,  oh laughing with you both. Going to your house down and sad, and you telling me some of the most simple yet important things that taught me about life and people.  You were special and I will miss you. Love
