He graduated from Cascia Hall in Tulsa, Oklahoma in May of 2010. After graduating from The Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in the spring of 2012, he had returned to Tulsa to attend The University of Tulsa Business School .
John was working as a sous chef and evening manager at The Muscle Maker Restaurant in south Tulsa while taking a full load of business courses at the university.
John loved hiking, camping, biking, and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed time with his grandfather, Louis Timp,
who was a major force in his life.
John was extremely well rounded and diversely talented. He was a trained chef, he interned at Disney World, he earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do under Grand Master Wilson Vann in Tahlequah, he was an excellent dancer, an aspiring artist, and in his senior year of high school he played the role of Macbeth on stage. John truly lived in the moment.
Countless friends and acquaintances were deeply saddened to hear the news of John’s passing.
He will be sorrowfully missed by his mother, Hope, siblings Graham, Agatha, Elisabeth, Rachel, Juliana, Claude and
his father, David.
Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
