

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Joshua Heath Ferguson, on January 23, 2026. He departed from this world at home at the age of twenty-nine. Joshua was born on June 24, 1996, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was the youngest son to Shane Ferguson of Park Hill, Oklahoma and Susan Ferguson-Evans of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Joshua touched the lives of all who knew him with kindness, generosity, and a gentle spirit. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all those lives he encountered.
Joshua attended Keys Public Schools his entire life and graduated in May 2014. He excelled in academics, football, and, of course, flirting with the girls. He furthered his education by attending Northeastern State University and Connors State College obtaining an associate’s degree in December 2017.
Joshua enjoyed spending time with his immediate family, his niece, Adalynn, his nephew, Cove, and his second cousins, Jaycee, Grayson, and Lucas. He also enjoyed going to thrift stores with his mother, and collecting coins, arrowheads, Pokémon cards, baseball cards, and vintage watches. Joshua also enjoyed life by attending concerts, outdoor events, and amusement parks, He enjoyed watching all genres of movies, and spending time with his dog, Peanut.
Joshua Heath Ferguson is survived by his father, Shane Ferguson, his mother, Susan Ferguson-Evans, and his brother, Zachary Ferguson, as well as many other family members.
May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
