Joyce Ellen Blevins was born in Tahlequah, OK to Arnold Phillips and Norma Jean Warren on March 20th, 1947. Joyce was raised by Orris E. Hiatt and Norma Jean Warren in Oklahoma and Michigan. She had three children, Richard, Julie and Joy Applegate. She attended college at Conners State College and Northeastern State University where she obtained her Psychology Degree. Joyce loved spending time with her family, watching movies and playing games. Joyce passed away on November 13th, 2016 in Wichita Kansas. She lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one half-brother.
She is survived by a half-brother and half-sister, one sister, Dena Essner and husband Bill of Texas, two brothers, Rick and Rodney Hiatt, her three children, Richard Mazie and wife Judy, Julie Loudermilk and husband Darrell of Peggs, OK and Joy Lynne Thomas of Kansas. She leaves nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as many more relatives and friends.
