Juan married Marsha Degase on May 17, 1996 in Greenville, TX. Together they raised three children, Manuel, Gabby and Jessie.
Juan was a jack-of-all trades. He was a concrete finisher for Patton Construction for many years and later began constructing bridges with Muskogee Bridge and then with Manhattan Road and Bridge. For the past 13 years, he has worked for Veramon Davis as a handyman and ranch hand.
Juan loved working. He spent most of his time outside working on different projects or playing with his grandchildren. He loved time with his children and would often take them out on the job with him to show them the ropes. When he was younger, he participated in lucha libre wrestling in Mexico.
Juan passed from this life on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in Tahlequah, OK with family by his side. He was 52 years old.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Aureliano Garcia and Rebeca Agustin and one brother, Hector.
He leaves behind his wife, Marsha Garcia of the home, three children, Manuel Garcia and wife Gaia, Gabby Garcia and husband Hayden and Jessie Garcia and companion Mayzi. He also leaves behind his 11 grandchildren, Raylynn, Kaia, Kaven, Kasey, Amora, Katie, Manuel Jr., Ella, Rebeca, Kayden and Zila and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
Funeral services will occur Friday, October 17, 2025 at 2:00pm at Reed-Culver Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Moody Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Manuel Garcia, Jessie Garcia, Marsha Garcia, Hayden Birdtail, Jessie "Bull" Sanders and Daniel Agustin. Honorary Pallbearers include Gaia Zwirtz, Fernando Chavez, Cesar Chavez and Olivia Tinoco.
