Kendal BreAnne Davis was born on March 4th, 1990 in Muskogee, OK, to Troy Kent and Sheila (Mattioda) Davis. She had one brother, Nick Davis. She was an active lady, spending the last 20 years of her life as a Special Olympic athlete. In 2015 she was selected as a member of Team USA for the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, CA where she won the silver medal in the javelin and the bronze medal in the 4x100 meter relay. Of all her athletic achievements she was most proud of the fact that she recently became certified as a coach, graduated from the Athlete Leadership University Program and was excited to be able to help her fellow athletes. She volunteered at Remarkable’s for 10 years, was an artist for the Penguin Project. She most recently played the role of Ursula in their rendition of the Little Mermaid. She was a devoted member of the Tahlequah Outlaws Special Olympic team and the South College Church of Christ. She volunteered her time with Lowrey Volunteer Fire Department helping with banquets and events and collecting dues and whatever was asked of her. You couldn’t help but notice the way she lit up a room with her smile and loving heart, to know her was to love her. She was a genuine people person and loved helping them in anyway possible. She loved her community and enjoyed attending public functions. She had the ability to brighten everyone’s day just by being Kendal and by giving them one of her famous hugs. She was fiercely loyal and loved God, her family, her teammates, friends and her fur baby Gemma Grace without limitation. The Lord called her home on December 6th, 2023 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 33 and will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on in all her family and friends that she touched in her time on this earth.
