

Briggs, OK- Funeral services for Larry Wayne Rose, age 53, will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010,at 2:00 OM at Reed~Culver Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Reed~Culver Chapel. Interment will follow at Shirley Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Reed~Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Larry Wayne Rose was born on February 27, 1957, the son of Orville and Vida (Long) Rose in Tulsa, OK. Larry grew up in the Tahlequah area and spent the last 22 years residing in the Briggs Community. A carpenter by trade, Larry was talented with woodworking and had recently built a home for his daughter. He always had time to teach a grandchild the important things in life, like how to ride a tricycle. When he wasn’t working, He enjoyed hunting, especially deer. Larry was a true friend to all his family, friends, and anyone in need. Larry went home to heavenly home on August 8th, 2010 at his home in Briggs. He is preceded in death by his Dad, one brother Mike Rose, nephews Jerry Rose and Justin Rose.
Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his two daughters, Amanda Ingram and daughter Victoria Rose both of Briggs, OK. Other survivors include his Mother, Vida Rose of Moodys’ OK, four beloved grandchildren, Gary Neugin, Breanna Ingram, Mandi Ingram, Hidie Rose. Larry’s brothers and sister include Roy Rose and wife Penny of Hulbert, OK, Troy Rose and wife Janet of Tahlequah, OK, Stanley Rose and wife Karen of Locust Grove, OK, and Ike Rose and wife Sue of Tahlequah, OK and sister Ina Trammel and husband Gerald of Moodys, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
