

Leroy Campbell was born in Corpus Christi, TX on December 16, 1961, the son of Waiter Campbell and Yolanda (Rodriguez) Molano. After attending school, he joined the workforce and was a proud millwright, travel across the country working for many companies in the milling industry. He later received his HVAC certification and performed specially heating and air work. When he wasn’t working, he could be found out at his favorite fishing hole or spending a quiet day at the house. He was a huge Star Wars fan and loved Rock N’ Roll, whether new or old, as well as Tejano music stemming from his Hispanic culture. He appreciated the simple things in life. Everything had a place and he was sure to keep things organized and neat. He was a proud father and grandpa and very thankful for the time he had with them. He passed from this life on Friday, October 24, 2025 at his home in Cookson, with family by his side. He was 63 years old and will be greatly missed by all those at knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Waiter Campbell and Yolanda Molano, two brothers, Kino Cisneros and Leeray Campbell and two brothers-in-law, Jose Zamudio and James Demouy.
His memory lives on through his daughter, Amanda Lee Hagee of San Antonio, TX and six sisters, Linette Campbell-Zamudio of Tahlequah, OK, Sandy Demouy, Angie Cisneros and Elsa Bigbear, all of Houston, TX, Cynthia Zchafzahl of Austria and Betty Jo Campbell of California. He also leaves two grandchildren, Isabella Hagee and Lincoln Sherman of San Antonio, TX, uncles, Charles Campbell, John Campbell and Darrel Campbell, all of Welling, OK, aunts Mary Campbell also of Welling, OK and Ollie Thornton of Wichita, KS, nieces, Krystal Zamudio and companion Jamal Jones of Tahlequah, OK and Kina Zamudio and companion Lashad Hatch of Tahlequah, OK, nephews, Joe David Zamudio and Ventura Zamudio, cousin, Jaime Jaime and wife Tracy of Pasadena, TX, special friends, Richard Roberts, Victor Kelly and Anna Guinn, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
Visitation for Leroy will be Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
Funeral services will occur Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:00am at Reed-Culver Chapel with Reverend Darell Christopher officiating. He will be laid to rest at Barber Cemetery in Welling.
Those serving as pallbearers include Joe David Zamudio, J’Shon Zamudio, J’Dyn Zamudio, Jose Zamudio, Claude Wahl and Tom.
