

Oaks, OK- Graveside Service for Mack Barnett, will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 at Oaks Cemetery with Brothers Boyd Speaks and Harley Sarten officiating. Visitation will be held at Reed-Culver on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Johnny Mack Barnett, Lucas Stanley, Wendall Stanley, Zach Gann, Noah Stricker, Bubba Stricker, Justin Gann, Matthew Whaler, and Winston Barnett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Davis, Brian Stanley, Danny Whaler, Harley Sarten, and Anthony Forrest. Services have been entrusted to Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Mack Barnett was born on May 25th, 1933 in Rocky Ford, OK, the son of Alonzo and Jodie (Hildebrand) Barnett. On January 8th in 1955 he married the love of his life Patsy Foreman and they began a family raising six of the greatest kids. A Baptist by faith, Mack enjoyed spending his days roping in rodeos and doing blacksmith and Farrier work. On any day of the week Mack could be seen, with his wife Patsy, hauling trash, eating at the donut shop, or just driving around holding up traffic. Mack was a great man which held together his family. He loved spending time with his family, and will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Bertie Wayne Barnett and Johnny Mack Barnett, one brother, Ticket Barnett and one sister, Ella Mae Rogers.
Those left to remember his legacy include his wife Patsy Barnett of the home, four daughters; Rita Whaler and husband Danny of Chewey, OK, Patricia Barnett of Twin Oaks, OK, Maxine Stanley and husband Brian of Teresita, OK , Jodie Gann of Oaks, OK, one sister: Shirley Barnett of Yuba City, CA, two brothers: Herman Barnett of Tulsa, OK, and D.D. Barnett of Farmington, NM, twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of other family and loved him.
