Margie was born in Hulbert Oklahoma to Eli and Martha Carey. She is survive by siblings Joseph Michael Carey and Beulah Bailey, bothof Tulsa, Oklahoma
She is also survived by her husband of 72 years, Richard L. Parnell Sr. of Tulsa, OK, their son David E. Parnell and Daughter-In-Law Kim of Broken Arrow, OK, granddaughters Christen Sharon and husband Connor of Broken Arrow, OK and Jenny Parnell and Kody Bradley of Tulsa, OK, and great grandchildren Campbell, Jordan, Owen and Cainwyn of Broken Arrow, OK.
She is preceded in death by parents Eli and Martha Carey, son Richard L. Parnell Jr. and granddaughter Chelsea Lee Parnell.
Viewing will be held on October 13, 2022 between 4:00pm and 6:00pm at the Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK. Funeral services will be held on October 14, 2022 at the Airport Freewill Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK followed by graveside services at Swimmer Cemetery in Hulbert, OK.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Mike Smiley, Don Pifer, Jose Perez, Greg Fugate and Gary Fugate.
