

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Mary Ella Trammel-Sands will be held on Wednesday, December 24th, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Reed-Culver chapel with Reverend Charles Duvall officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 from noon until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will take place at Moodys Cemetery. Mary Ella Sands was born on April 26th, 1958 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Moore) Trammel. She spent most of her young life in and around Moody, OK , attending school in Moody, Lowery and Tahlequah, OK. Upon finishing school in Tahlequah, Mary worked in the area as a home health provider. She loved the clients entrusted to her care, and went the extra mile to show them just how much she cared. She loved her family, friends, and her neighborhood. They were a constant source of pride and happiness to Mary. She was sweet, outgoing, loveable and tenderhearted, with just enough sassy to keep her fun and young. Everyone in her family knew she was the sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, and aunt who always thought about you, and wondered if she could help. She began failing in health and she went to her eternal home on December 20th, 2014 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 56 years old. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tommy, and two nieces and one nephew.
Marys memory will be cherished by her loving children, Michael Trammel and wife Lisa of Qualls, OK, John Robison of Qualls, Ok, Glen Dale Hamby of Tahlequah, and two daughters, Jessica and Janessa Walters of Tahlequah, OK. She leaves five brothers, Duane Trammel and wife Pat of Tahlequah, Bill Trammel and wife Linda of Moody, OK, Robert Trammel of Moody, OK, Donald Trammel and wife Bonnie of moody, and Gerald Trammel and wife Ina also of Moody. She leaves three sisters, Norma Ford and husband Bob of Moody, Donna Steinman and husband Dennis of Lawrence, KS, and Evelyn Dick and husband Roy of Welling, OK. Marys love of life lives on in her ten grandchildren, Lane Trammel, Makyla Trammel, Cody Trammel, Cash Trammel, and Alexis Trammel, Damon Robison, Brodee Robison, and Gatlin Robison, Stetson Calcote and Braylie Calcote, and two adored great grandchildren, Kayden and Gage Trammel, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
