Opal Minnie Lane was born on June 6, 1917 in Manard, OK, the daughter of Tom and Jane (wages) Denny. Opal was a real people person and she loved the times spent with her family and friends visiting and talking. She especially enjoyed her job at Wal Mart as a Greeter which often gave her opportunities to see old friends and make new ones. Opal passed away on January 26, 2012 With her family by her side, she was 94 years old. Opal is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Brad Lane, three brothers Bert Wagers, Odie Denny, and Audie Denny, two sisters Reeda Gillispie, and Ocie Clark. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Jerry Lane of Tahlequah, OK., Wymbert Lane and his wife Shirley of Pea Ridge, AR., and Jack Lane, her daughters Anis Williams of Tulsa, OK., Sue Bynum and husband Jim of Tahlequah, OK., and Wanda Ballard and her husnband Frank of Tulsa, OK., 7 grandchildren, 17 gereat grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
