Pamela worked for many years at Greenleaf Nursery and had a love for gardening that followed her home. She loved her children and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Pamela also had a style all her own. She loved colorful dresses, preferred being barefoot, and was rarely seen without a Pepsi, and never missed much of General Hospital. Pamela loved Jesus and had a heart for people who needed someone in their corner. She spent a great deal of time serving as a sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous, offering encouragement, understanding, and support to others.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, James Russell Kelley and Margie Louise (Rich) Kelley; her siblings, Eugene, Jack, Hattie, and Margie; and her nephew, Daniel Kelley.
She is survived by her daughters, Penny Blakley and Patricia Elk; her grandchildren, Mckayla Kelley, Haiden Kelley, Jaycee Kelley, Tommi Elk, Daley Center, Katie Center, and Woody Center; twelve sisters; Andrea McGinnis, a cherished friend she considered a sister; and Charles McReynolds, who held a special place in her life as a son.
Pamela will be remembered for her faith, her colorful personality, the love she poured into her family and others, and for living life very much on her own terms. Shoes may have been optional, but the Pepsi apparently was not.
