Pauline Minnie Jones

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Pauline M. Jones will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Reed Culver Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah with Pastor Wendell Cox officiating. Active Pallbeares will be Ronnie Ford, Jason Ford, Jarrod Ford, Brandon Qualls, Bryan Qualls, and Matt Young, honorary Pallbearers are the Hulio Mores family.

Pauline M. Jones was born on May 30, 1920 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma the daughter of James and Mary Elizabeth (Faubus) McChristian. On august 30, 1939 Pauline married Harley Loyd Ford and was happily married till his passing in 1972. Eight years later she married her lifelong friend, Johnnie N. Jones whom she cherished dearly for the next 30 years until his recent passing. She was a member of the Steely Hollow Baptist Church. Pauline loved many things in her life including sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening, and traveling with her husband Johnnie. Pauline never met a stranger and those who did meet her were often fed a piece of pie or cake and a cup of coffee.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husbands Harley Loyd Ford, and Johnnie N. Jones, her father, James Finis McChristian, her mother Mary Elizabeth, two brothers, Garland McChristian, and Rolland McChristian, Three sisters Gussie Lawrence, Iva Mae Ryals, and Bethel Jones

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Patty Smith and husband Bert of Keys, OK., sons Bobby R. Ford and wife Norma of Moodys, OK., and Joe Ford and his wife Mary Ann of Tahlequah, OK., six grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
