He was born on February 13, 1930 in Alluwe, OK, the son of Lloyd Israel and Lucille Parrish. He made a living for his family working as a logger out west. Phillip was a man of many stories and was always willing to share them.
Phillip is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Helen Yates, son Keith Israel, and one grandson, Jaxon Israel.
Those Phillip are survived by include daughter Kim Israel and fiancé Greg, daughter Kelli Israel-Jones and son-in-law Dale Jones, son John Israel and daughter-in-law Pam Israel, son Larry Israel, and son Kevin Israel and daughter-in-law Evelyn Israel; 17 grandchildren: Zach, Amy, Brandy Jones, Jamie, Casey, Jessica, Cody, Shania, Brandy, John Jr., Bradyn, Kelsie, Mya, Kaylee, Blaine, Jada, and Eli; and 6 great-grandchildren: Shayla, Levi, Pressley, Anistyn, Alex and Jaylen. As well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.
