Ronnie Dean Raincrow was born on May 1st, 1953 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of John and Malley Marie (Poor) Raincrow. He was raised with one brother and two sisters, Betty, and twins Sue and Johnny. He graduated from Tahlequah High School and then began his career at Greenleaf nursey as a horticultural employee. On March 21, 1995, he married his best friend and sweetheart, Beth Renee Trowbridge, at Gruber Nature Reserve. Together they raised a family of one son, John Samuel and two stepchildren, Jacob and Mishelle. Ronnie was a master gardener, raising anything he set his mind to. Every year he raised a large garden. He loved to spend a little spare time fishing and hunting, especially deer. The great outdoors was where Ronnie liked to relax. He would hike for miles, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the sounds of nature, often in the company of his canine companions, Stubby and Buster. He also enjoyed his cat Comet’s company and even had a pair of chickens running around the yard. He was a quiet, gentle man, thoughtful and kind. He liked people and would gladly offer assistance when needed. He enjoyed time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He passed from this life on January 14th, 2022 in Tahlequah, OK with his loved ones by his side. He was 68 years old and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cornelius Raincrow and his mother and father.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife Beth of the home in Park Hill and his son, John Raincrow and companion Katrina Betz of Stillwater, OK. He leaves two stepchildren, Jacob Vann and wife Wendy of Fayetteville, AR, and Mishelle Cantrell and husband Billy of Wainwright, OK. He leaves his sister Betty Raincrow and twins Sue and Johnnie Raincrow all of Qualls, OK. He lives on in his grandchildren, and three great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
