I met Shanna 9 yrs. ago when she became a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Over the years  Shanna volunteered thousands of hours  advocating  for more than 20 abused and neglected children,   She was always willing  to help with and support our fundraising  events and Ty usually was with Shanna helping too.  Shanna was admired by volunteers, board members and staff at CASA for her sense of loyalty, dedication and empathy she displayed everyday.  Shanna was a  very good person and friend.  I am honored to have known such a beautiful soul. Ty and Don she loved you both very much and is always with you. Rest in peace my friend. 

I never had the fortune to meet Shanna in person, but we shared a game that became a huge part of our lives. Seems funny to think something like that could bring people together, but it did. She touched so many more lives through that game with her kindness and her warrior spirit. Don and Ty were part of that little online family as well, and so many have offered their condolences. Friend and "enemy" alike, which is testament to how well Shanna was loved.  One such note "Thank you for making me a better person and may you find heavenly peace.  -Spnnr".  Much love to the family who we will never get to meet.  As for the pic? My kitteh who's antics and yeowls used to delight Shanna every time I shared them. Don & Ty - your other family is praying for strength for you in the coming days. You know where to find us. We left the light on for you. -Kim aka Laf

I knew Shanna thru a game, Forge of Empires.  Although we never actually met in real life her and I were game friends for more than 8yrs.  She displayed such loyalty, kindness and was steadfast, she was just one of those people that was solid, I knew she was always there for others ... even tho it was "just" a game.

The news has shocked us, the guild TPL passes on their heartfelt condolences to all those who loved her, may her beautiful soul rest in peace.
