Stormie Nicole Bird-Pritchett

Stormie Nicole Bird-Pritchett was born September 2, 1989, the daughter of Roger Dale Bird and Lisa (Lilley) Brant. She grew up in the Tahlequah community and was an athlete through and through. She found a passion for sports at a young age, playing through school and into adulthood. Whether on the basketball court or softball field, she played with grit and a competitive spark that never faded. But her greatest victories in life were the people she loved. She shared the same of love of the game with her children, teaching them sportsmanship above all. She adored her children, husband and family with every part of her soul, and she had a way of becoming a second mom to anyone who needed one. No matter the hour—midnight, 2 a.m., or dawn—she was calling to visit. She took any opportunity to share a good story with those she loved. And in true her fashion, she was never on time…but she was ready and willing to show up to help. Her selflessness was one of her most defining traits; she would do anything for anyone.

She shared a special bond with her daughters, spending countless hours doing hair, nails, and makeup—moments filled with lots of laughter, music and the sweet scents of her favorite candles and lotions. Pulling her from the scented candle aisle at Wal-Mart was quite the challenge. She loved all kinds of music and would break into song often, bringing life to any party. A true outlaw at heart with a passion for fast cars and living life wide open, she embraced every day with the same bold energy that made her impossible to forget. Her presence was powerful, her loyalty unwavering and her love for others immeasurable. Stormie passed from this life on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 36 years old. Though her time here was far too short, she lived every moment fully and fearlessly.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, JB and Betty Bird and Nannie and Papa Parker, father, Roger Dale Bird and two brothers, Brian Dale Bird and Ryan Eugene Bird.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother and step-father, Lisa and Doug Brant, husband, Frankie Pritchett of the home in Tahlequah, OK. Her legacy lives on through her children, Lance Ryan Allen Pritchett, Isaac Grey Pritchett, Lanie Dale Ann Bird, Kaylie Marie Bird, Brylee Renee Bird, all of the home and Frankie Rain Bird of Teresita, OK. She also leaves three brothers, Skylor Stephen William House of Shreveport, LA, Jess Allen Brant and wife Stephanie of Peggs, OK and Coy Douglas Brant and wife Kassandra of Keys, OK, six sisters, Brandi Camille Powell and husband Joey of Marthaville, LA, Jami Joan Dans and husband Roland of Marthaville, LA, Amber Dawn Brunk of Tahlequah, OK, Meranda Nicole Burkey of Keys, OK, Makayla Price of Tahlequah, OK, Chyla Bird of Tahlequah, OK, Ashley Sanders and husband Andrew of Stilwell, OK, Shalaina Bird of Little Kansas, OK, Shalaunda Angeles and husband Pablo of Siloam Springs, AR, her nieces and nephews, Brina Smith, Josh Bird, Caitlyn Bird, Ashlyn Ellis, Raylan Bird, Ryder Brant, Lily Brant, Roman Brant, Hunter Brant, Breyer Brant, Jesslyn Smith, Mason Burkey, Chandler Burkey, Clayton Dyes, Camron Dyes, Olivia Dans, Zachary Dans, Levi Dans, Abby Powell, Emma Powell, Henley House, Hollis House, Hannah Brunk and River Brunk, many cousins, her loved dog and fur-baby, Gunther along with a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

A visitation for Stormie will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home.

Funeral services will occur Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Josh Allen officiating. She will be laid to rest at Swimmer Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Jeff Vann, David Carroll, Coy Brant, Andrew Sanders, Pablo Angeles, Dusty Chastain, Jon Barnoski, Candice Drywater and Tayler Berry. Honorary pallbearers are Lance Pritchett, Isaac Pritchett, Matt Spencer, Jess Allen Brant and Anthony Ellis.
