A memorial service for Susan Carol Nichols will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00am at God’s Mountain Church located in Rose, OK with Pastor Carl Clark officiating. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com
Honorary pallbearers for Susan’s service will be Blake Millspaugh, Joe Tamplen, Gerald Millspaugh, Cole George, Dakota Tamplen, Toby George and Brixey Watkins.
Susan Carol Nichols was born Monday, February 4, 1957 in Lincoln, NE to Sherman and Maymie Jewel (Fox) Davis along with one brother, Mickey. Susan spent days growing up like any true Oklahoman, camping and fishing. She was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School and later became a medical caretaker. Susan was blessed with two sons, Timothy and David and four daughters Peggy, Maymie, Shannon and Mickey.
Susan was a bubbly and happy woman. As an adult, she continued to enjoy the peace she found while fishing and camping. Susan loved to dance and go out for bingo and casino nights. She never met a stranger, in fact it didn’t matter who you were you were family to her. She always loved having kids around, but spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most joy. Susan passed away March 20, 2019 in Salina, OK, surrounded by those she loved. She was 62 when she was called from this world. Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren for years to come.
Susan is preceded in death by both of her parents and one son, Timothy Wayne Pendergraft.
Susan is survived by one son, David Toby George and wife Misy of Leach, OK, four daughters, Peggy Millspaugh and husband Gerald of Oklahoma City, OK, Maymie Tamplen and husband Joe of Salina, OK, Shannon Watkins and husband Chris of Leach, OK, Mickey Bell of Edmond, OK, and her brother, Mickey Davis and wife Rhonda of Catossa, OK. She is also survived by her beloved 13 grandchildren, C.J. George, Abby George, Ashly George, Cole George, Dakota Tamplen, Katelyn Tamplen, April Tamplen, Annie Tamplen, Blake Millspaugh, Monica Bell, Shawnie Watkins, Krishton Watkins, and Brixey Watkins. Susan will be missed by a host of friends and those whose lives she touched throughout the years.
