Susan Carol Nichols was born Monday, February 4, 1957 in Lincoln, NE to Sherman and Maymie Jewel (Fox) Davis along with one brother, Mickey. Susan spent days growing up like any true Oklahoman, camping and fishing. She was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School and later became a medical caretaker. Susan was blessed with two sons, Timothy and David and four daughters Peggy, Maymie, Shannon and Mickey.
Susan was a bubbly and happy woman. As an adult, she continued to enjoy the peace she found while fishing and camping. Susan loved to dance and go out for bingo and casino nights. She never met a stranger, in fact it didn’t matter who you were you were family to her. She always loved having kids around, but spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most joy. Susan passed away March 20, 2019 in Salina, OK, surrounded by those she loved. She was 62 when she was called from this world. Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren for years to come.

Susan Carol Nichols
March 25, 2019
I was 15 almost 16 and thought my life at home was so bad that I needed to run away. Susan’s house is where I went. Why you ask? Because she was my second mom. Always excepted me for me and expected more from me. The one who would hug me and spank my butt at the same time if that’s what I needed. Although as I got older I didn’t spend as much time with her as I did when I was younger she was always someone that would have had my back and given me anything I needed if she had it. She was momma , that’s what we all called her. Our momma hen, forever in our hearts and truly will be missed. Love on my Opal while your loving on your baby boy too! 👼🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
