She attended school but left early to help at home with the younger siblings. She would meet and fall in love with Travis Arlow Scroggins, and in 1962, they were married. This union was blessed with two sons and one daughter, Travis, Tommy and Susan. Susie was never one to sit idly by and watch the day fade away. She was always doing something, she worked as a sanitation technician at Wagoner Hospital and Wagoner Nursing Home. She loved to sew and was gifted with a needle. She could drop seeds in the garden and produce the most wonderful vegetables and flowers .She loved to tell a good story, joke and pull the odd prank. She had a giving heart and was generous, loving and kind. There was always room at her table for the stranger, and they were always invited to share the family meal and to relax for a while. She adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was always there supporting them in whatever they did. She was always ready to reward them with one of her famous home cooked meals of chicken and dumplings, stew and biscuits and gravy. Her son Tommy passed from this life in 2000 and her husband died in 2002. She remained with her family, keeping them strong and together. She passed from this life suddenly on March 13th, 2018, in Tahlequah, OK after attaining the age of 74. She will be missed.
