Tracy LaNeal Waits Carey

Tracy Carey age 51 of Hulbert, OK entered her life’s journey on August 6, 1963 in Tahlequah, OK. She was the daughter of Alvin Waits Jr. and Ethel (Fisher) Waits. Tracy completed her journey on December 27, 2014 in Tahlequah, OK. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Reed Culver Chapel with Jack and Gary Carey officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Pallbearers include Allan Comer, Randy Carey, Tyler Hawk, Darnel Carey, Floyd Carey, and Phillip Carey, honorary pallbearers include Terry Cook, Justin Carey, Kristopher Glenn, Cameron Fielden, and Rick Waits.

Tracy worked at Tahlequah City Hospital in the lab for many years and was well liked. She enjoyed reading, listening to country music especially her man George Strait, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family. We all feel the pain of her loss, and miss her. She will forever live on in her children, grandchildren, and the host of family and friends she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her father Junior Carey, grandfather Moses Carey, Grandmother Farris Carey, and Nephew Michael Waits.

Those left to carry on the legacy of her journey include her mother Ethel Waits, stepmother Lecrisha Seabolt, two sisters Donna Brave and Shannon Cook and husband Terry, her children Eugene Carey, Selena Feilden, grandchildren Justin, Cheyenne, and Kaylee Carey, her nieces Ashley, and Rebecca Brave, Kameisha Hawk, Jennifer Perkins, Kaylee, Felicia, and Connie Carpenter and a nephew Tyler Hawk, as well as a host of other friends and loved ones.
