Tracy Grant Wagers began life’s journey on May 18, 1956 in Janesville, WI the son of Roy and Nadine (Purdum) Wagers. After high school, he furthered his education earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. As an electrician, Tracy was able to fund his true passion of being a musician and playing his guitar. He had a knack for performing and never missed a chance to hang out with friends telling stories or cracking a joke. When Tracy was not working or on stage somewhere, he enjoyed a relaxing day dropping a line in his favorite fishing hole. To know Tracy, was to know a true friend. He was lucky enough to find the absolute best of friends in his wife Annette (Kauffman) Wagers. Tracy had many blessings in his life but the greatest ones were his three children. On June 16, 2022 at the age of 66, he completed life’s journey in Tahlequah, OK and went to play on the greatest stage of all. He leaves a void in so many lives that will be impossible to fill.
Those that joined heavens band before him include his parents Roy and Nadine Wagers.
Left behind to cheer on his legacy include his wife Annette Wagers of the Home, one son; Corey Wagers of AR, two daughters; Bridgette Spears of Claremore, OK and Courtney and Eddy Ellis of Tulsa, OK, one brother; Brandon Wagers of Tahlequah, OK, two grandchildren; Katelyn Hinkle and Caleb hunt, and one great grandson; Hudson Campbell, as well as, many other family, friends and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK with Bro. Jason Gann officiating.
